New Business Ideas & Business Plan Examples and more!

Do I need math?

What do I need to take in high school?

What jobs can I get in the future with business/marketing?

How much money could I make with a business degree and a marketing degree?

Lots of math. But if you are in the top 10% you can go to any college and study business. Project Management is the best field. Sale people make the most. Good luck.

I am finding that I am not a 9 to 5, answer-to-the-boss kind of person. I am willing to put in the time and work to start my own business, but need help figuring out what to do. I just graduated from college with a degree in Communications, with emphasis in Public Relations, but I don’t want to do public relations. Please help with any creative and innovative ideas. DO NOT respond with scams or get-rich-quick/pyramid schemes.

Hey Branden,
Like you I decided I was to old to have someone else tell me what to do, or when to get hungry. I knew business ownership was the way to go and have done several things. Most require a large investment of time and money. About 10 years ago I became a distributor with Amway….. Before you laugh and disregard this answer listen to me…
This is a real business. Your success or failure is up to you, not someone else. If you treat it like a job like most people do you will give up and quit….
Amway did over $8 billion in sales last year and will pass that mark this year… Has created more million heirs than anyone else except Microsoft, which is one of our partners. This is not get rich quick but it is get rich possible unlike your job…I know you have seen the TV adds and the Orlando Magic, Which we own…
Enough…. If you can think outside the box and not worry what other people think, most of whom have never done anything anyway, contact me and I’ll get you in touch with the right people… Email me at mrtester@ltdkate.com

Goals and Objectives. Their role in planning within an organization. Apply these concepts to your personal aspirations. Include a discussion of your strategic, tactical, and operational plans. You might even include mention of contingency plans. If you are a "work in progress," go ahead and make it up

We are a new business in town and need something more for Business Partnerships besides "you hand out ours, we’ll hand out yours" thing. Also, to attract new customers, we have used signage with balloons, fliers on cars, and customer referral bonus. Right now we are not looking to advertise with any of the media.
Does anyone have any other ideas of attracting new customers? We would appreciate any and all ideas!!
Thank you!

Not knowing what kind of business you’re in does hurt a bit, but one simple way to increase referrals is to reward for them – and not just a customer bonus, but for your business partners too.

A simple question you need to know the answer to: "how much am I willing to pay to get a new customer?"

Then instead of rejecting "any of the media" you have a solid basis to evaluate "did this particular media or campaign bring in customers above or below that cost?"

There’s more but that’s a start. Good luck!
