I totally agree! For years the government was trying to ride a bike on a sheet of ice, and never figured out they were not getting any further ahead and lied that they did.

Here in the US however, our last election (08) allowed a man who speaks well but does more of the same to get elected… he never speaks the truth, but speaks eloquently enough to mystify the masses, and then by his actions, shows he is open to dragging our country deeper into a quagmire.
